Privacy policy

ScopeLine Desk is designed to provide an offline adult educational workbench without collecting or transmitting personal data.

1. Responsible entity, platform, scope, and effective date

National Association of Court Approved Treatment Providers Inc. is the responsible entity for ScopeLine Desk on Android. This policy applies only to the app and its support website. Effective August 4, 2026.

2. Intended audience and adult boundary

The app is designed for adults performing professional education and readiness work. It is not directed to children and is not a participant, patient, family, or youth-facing service.

3. Purpose and core functions

ScopeLine Desk provides offline educational modules, a Scope Gate, a four-lane Boundary Board, Known/Must verify/Do not assume flip states, a preset Practice Brief builder, a Source Rail, and a Local Desk drawer.

4. Data collected, transmitted, and not collected

The app collects and transmits no personal data. It does not request names, case identifiers, health information, attendance, contacts, location, messages, files, or free-text entries.

5. On-device preferences and state

The app may store only bookmarks, module progress, preset toggle selections, flip-state position, and drawer preferences in Android app-private preferences on the device.

6. Sensitive records, youth records, and free text

ScopeLine Desk is not a patient record, case-management system, attendance log, incident log, or clinical record. It has no free-text field and must not be used to store sensitive, youth, participant, case, court, or health information.

7. Permissions

The app requests no runtime permissions and declares no Internet permission. It does not access camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, files, notifications, location, Bluetooth, sensors, or advertising identifiers.

8. Accounts, login, and account deletion

There are no accounts, usernames, passwords, login, subscription, or server profiles. Account deletion is therefore not applicable.

9. Ads, analytics, tracking, telemetry, and SDKs

The app contains no ads, analytics, tracking, attribution, telemetry, crash-reporting service, social SDK, cloud SDK, payment SDK, or generative-AI service. It uses only Android platform and AndroidX support components.

10. Sharing, disclosure, sale, and third parties

Because the app does not collect or transmit personal data, the publisher does not share, disclose, rent, or sell app user data. No third party receives app state from the app.

11. External links, contact, export, and network behavior

The app performs no network requests, opens no embedded browser, sends no email, and offers no data export or share action. Source names and postal contact details are reference text only.

12. Retention

Local preferences remain until the user selects Reset all, clears app storage, or uninstalls the app. The publisher has no server copy and no remote retention period.

13. Deletion, backup, restore, and device transfer

Reset all deletes app-created preferences. Clearing app storage or uninstalling also removes them. Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled for all app data.

14. Security measures and limits

App state is held in Android app-private preferences and is not transmitted. Device access, operating-system compromise, screenshots, and actions taken outside the app remain outside the publisher’s control; users should secure their devices.

15. Children, Families, and safeguarding

The app is for adults and contains no child-directed content, youth profiles, messaging, location features, or social interaction. Adults must use authorized safeguarding and emergency procedures outside the app.

16. Health and professional limitations

ScopeLine Desk is an educational reference for adult professionals. It does not provide legal advice, determine court approval, certify providers, award continuing-education credit, or confirm regulatory compliance. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Verify requirements with the relevant court, regulator, licensing board, legal counsel, and qualified healthcare professionals. ScopeLine Desk is not clinical decision support, a provider directory, a court-approval verifier, an accreditation or certification system, a continuing-education system, case management, a patient record, or an emergency service.

17. Policy changes and user choices

Material changes will be shown by an updated effective date in the app and public policy. Users may avoid local state by not selecting toggles or bookmarks and may delete all state at any time with Reset all.

18. Privacy contact
